TN TRB Vacancy 2024 Notification
The official notification was circulated on 09 February 2024. The online procedure to submit the application form starts on 14th February, and the application form window closes on the 15th of March 2024. The recruitment aims to fill 1768 vacant posts in various categories. These posts are divided into two categories, with 1729 current Vacancies and 39 Backlog Vacancies.

TN TRB Eligibility criteria
Age Limit: The applicants should be more than 53 years old as of 01-07-2024. Also, consider the following age limit relaxation for the various categories.
- The upper age limit for the candidates belonging to the General Category for appointment by direct recruitment to this selection is 53 years of age as of the first day of July of the recruitment year 2024.
- Also, the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC, and DW of all castes is 58 years of age as on the first day of July of the recruitment year 2024.
Also, in case other age relaxations be considered if any given by the govt. of India orders/Institutions issued from time to time.
Education Qualification:
- Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known or Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 or Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known
- Passed in the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – I
Selection Procedure: Those Applications who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above, and register with TN TRB for recruitment to the above post will be eligible for the exam. The selection procedure would consist of two stages, which are a Written Exam and Documentation verification.
DSIIC SGT Salary: After passing all the selection procedures the onboard candidates will get Level 10 and a pay scale from 20600 – 75900 INR per month.
